An exciting opportunity to join a growing employee-owner team for an impact organization! Perfect for someone that has functional and hands-on exerience with a solid understanding of how to best leverage multi-channel marketing and partnerships to advance brand awareness, support sales and overall business growth. Marketing dimensions include, but not limited to, brand and solution marketing (B2B, B2E, and potentially growing into B2C) and partnership programs. This is a key role within MarCom that will assist in advancing the AVID brand, positioning, and messaging to the masses across multiple markets, while telling our story in a compelling and impactful manner.  

 The Marketing Specialist will work very closely with Director of MarCom and in collaboration with team members and key partners on several aspects of yearly planning, development, and initiatives, while also individually leading various efforts and playing a significant role in the continuous improvement of MarCom workflows, procedures, and reporting. Measuring performance of efforts via appropriate data and analytics and using those to inform future enhancements and proactive planning.   • Help drive and support strategies, tactics, and optimization of multi-channel activity to expand AVID’s marketing reach in support of brand and mission awareness, sales growth, and solution partner programs. 
    • Assist in the yearly development and authoring of strategies and tactical plans for brand awareness, product, and solution marketing. 
  • Play a significant role in being a steward for the AVID brand and story. 
  • Building supportive relationships internally and externally. 
  • Ensure all managed activity is in alignment with AVID’s brand and vision. 
  • Working collaboratively, develop and maintain integrated marketing calendar for internal and external partner activity (Campaigns, E-Mktg, Social, Advertisements, Website, Promotions, etc.). 
  • Copywriting and copy deck development support. 
  • Lead coordination with external resources on material, such as white papers and print needs. 
  • Internal and external yearly planning, support, and management. 
      • Internal: Collaboratively determine audience targeting and best exposure methods to increase brand awareness, drive programs and new prospects/leads within established and emerging markets, while nurturing existing leads and support renewal/retention efforts. 
      • – Including Solution Launches (services, products) in alignment with go to market strategies and yearly business plans. 
  • E-Marketing 
    • Manage third-party account and be the lead on all activity while proactively seeking to enhance methods. Produce email communication individually and in collaboration with cross functional team members, schedule and deploy emails in alignment with various campaigns, automated communication schedules, targeted brand awareness goals, and work with Sales on CRM.  
  • Tradeshows and Events 
    • Manage and coordinate all related activity 
    • Ability to travel and attend when needed 
  • Working with team members to centralize and report on analytics across all digital channels and activity. Putting in place applicable matrices and KPI’s. 
  • Monitor sales and inventory data via D365 and established BI Dashboards for potential marketing opportunities and baselines for related campaigns. Work closely with Sale teams on opportunities to explore with key partners across multiple markets. 
  • Explore and support various advertising efforts and opportunities (digital and print). 
  • Project manage activity and collaborate with multiple stakeholders to ensure on-budget and on-time delivery of all deliverables. 
  • Coordinate and run kickoff meetings and MarCom project status meetings. 
  • Able to support and/or take the lead in the development of presentations. 
  • Market Research and Trends
    • Proactively identify industry trends, acumen, and customer insights to assist in development of solutions, marketing strategy, brand, messaging, and lead generation.  
  • Working closely with Director of MarCom on yearly review of all activity, including workflows, processes, and tools for continuous improvement consideration. Supporting and/or leading the development and deployment of any improvement efforts. 
  • Proactively seek opportunities to advance yearly plans, goals and to assist in providing an enhanced 360-degree customer (and partner) experience. 
  • Maintain understanding of best practices through continuing education, reading, or participation in professional conferences, workshops, or groups.

  • Experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and BI a plus 
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud software a plus 
  • At least 5+ years’ experience in a similar marketing role 
  • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience
